A well known WA brand within the FMCG industry have a newly created senior role for a Procurement Manager- ideally with exposure to the Asian market.
This is a newly created role - the key accountability negotiating major multi millon dollar contracts.
The ideal person for this role will have experience from consumer goods.
Duties will include: - Sourcing suppliers - this will include travel to Asia
- Negotiating and implementing contracts
- Address issues of non performance with vendors
- Driving supplier performance
- Ensure SLA's are agreed and best practice adhered to
The ideal person for this role: - FMCG Procurement experience - ideally with exposure to the Asian market
- Demonstrated knowledge of risk management, procurement and supply chain principles
- Proven experience of negotiating major contracts for supply of goods and services
- Strong communication skills
- Good commercial acumen
