The successful candidate will possess a background within a container transport and container yard operation. Reporting to the Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

 
• Ensuring all transport operations occur safely, efficiently & cost effectively
• Planning and allocating fleet and truck movements in order to maximize fleet efficiency & DIFOT
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all inward and outbound movements of containers are met in a timely manner
• Delivering strict adherence to company OH&S policies and guidelines

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will need to possess:

• A minimum of four (4) years of fleet control experience
• A solid understanding of container transport and container yard operations
• A strict adherence to Driver Fatigue Management policies and procedures.
• Experience with a vast range of transport equipment.
