Our Client is a Leader in Australia’s Media Industry. Due to an internal promotion they are looking for an Advertising Sales Manager to lead the team of sales consultants and drive strategic growth. This role will be looking after a group of Sales Executives and reports to the Divisional Manager; it will also involve management of the top accounts. You will be working with ad agencies and directly into major corporate accounts as well. A background in media would be looked upon favourably but is not a pre requisite. A background in key account management is important; you will need to have worked with large corporate accounts at a strategic Head office level. Of most importance is a strong history of team management. The individuals reporting to you are strong and dynamic sales people so mentoring and inspiring need to be a key component of the successful applicants skill set. For this role you will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, professional presentation skills and ability to form strong customer relationships with a proactive approach to identifying new market opportunities.
