Experience in either underground or open pit mining operations.
The Mine Engineer must have the following experience;
At least 3 years experience at an operating underground or Open Pit mine site
Previous production and or planning experience,
Exposure to mining software packages, Surpac exposure would be advantageous
Scheduling and budgeting skills.
Competent user of MS office suite
Conceptual understanding of mine geotechnical principals
Working knowledge of sound drilling and blasting practices
Strong communication skills are important for this role as employees will be interacting with a wide range of stakeholders, from senior managers to operational staff.
