Reporting directly to the Parts Marketing Manager, as a Product Specialist in Mechanical you will be an essential part of a dynamic Marketing Team where you will be involved in lots of 'Think Tank' activities focusing on the promotion and analysis of aftermarket mechanical parts.
This role will see you building strong relationships with trade customers to ensure that genuine parts are used for field repairs.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Development and analysis of sales and pricing strategies for all mechanical parts
• Achievement of sales and margin targets for mechanical parts
• Maintain and forge strong relationships with key suppliers and trade customers
• Development of marketing programs to support mechanical parts
• Development and analysis competitor market research material
Essential to your success will be:
• Previous experience in sales, marketing or product management within mechanical parts
• Strong ability to problem solve, analyze, strategise and project manage
• Advanced MS Excel and data analysis capabilities
• Highly articulate and business savvy
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, marketing or similar
• Proven results with sales marketing - ideally within a manufacturing environment
• Total commitment to customer service values
