A unique and exciting role has arisen within a well-known insurance group. We are looking for a motivated professional who has proven experience and success within a commercial underwriting role.
Working in theSydney CBD, you will be part of a highly supportive and driven property underwriting team within the prestige broker panel managing key relationships. You will receive ongoing training and mentoring whilst learning about mid market ISR risks, with the view to becoming a Senior Property Underwriter in the future.
The Role
Underwriting new and renewal business within guidelines
Building and maintaining relationships with key intermediaries
Managing a diverse portfolio of commercial and mid market risks
Delivering exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders
Supporting implementation of business strategy
The Candidate
At least 3 years experience in an underwriter role, either in commercial packages or property
Strong relationship management skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong problem solving, analytical and judgement skills
Outgoing and confident personality
