Our client is a leading insurance group looking to recruit an Assistant Underwriter to join their busy team.
Reporting directly to the Underwriting Operations Manager, you will provide full support and assistance, ranging from processing new business and renewals, checking premiums, preparing letters and policy schedules. You will liaise with brokers and answer telephone enquiries as well as perform other administrative duties.
You will ideally have:
2 + years experience in an Assistant Underwriter or Assistant Broker role
Exposure to commercial property or liability products
Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
