Kinetic Recruitment is a leading supplier of engineering recruitment solutions to the Rail Sector.

In your role as a Project Engineer (Signalling Design) is responsible for the provision of effective and timely signal design engineering support on all signalling related design review, coordination and approval responsibilities associated with the relevant project.

The role will also require you to have close liaison and coordination of signal design related matters with the project as well as liaison and coordination with the Engineering Services Group, Engineering Manager and other necessary internal Departments in the execution of the role. Equally liaison with Project Contractors, consultants and other related parties will be required.

Assist and support Project Managers on all signal related design and, wherever possible, construction matters, including contribution to the overall project risk register covering monitoring and report on a risk status.

Liaise with Engineering Services Group, Infrastructure, Designers, Contractors and internal Project Staff to ensure functional requirements are met and all signal related matters are effectively managed.

Provide signalling design review and construction management as required in liaising with relevant Project Managers, Engineering Manager and other related discipline managers and teams.

Report frequently on the progress of all issues regarding the assigned project tasks and promptly notify necessary management of any matters which could have a material adverse effect on project or the business.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Engineering Degree or equivalent
• Good experience in signalling design in a rail environment.
• Broad experience in the engineering and rail industries.
• Ability to communicate at a professional level.
• Time management and awareness of meeting deadlines and deliverables
